Christianity
Well, the religion always is a polemic topic. You can be like all the day discussing about it, between people of other religions or between Christians and atheists. We can see in history the influence of religion in general from moral things until the things that you must eat or not eat.
I am an atheist, but my family in general is very Christian (Catholics and protestants) and it was not an easy matter. I am really respectful of the beliefs of other people but my position is hard to understand for them. I hate when the people try to impose their faith, but I really hate more when the other atheist try to show them as the smartest people of the world. I think that being all a life believing in something and arrive to the conclusion of not believe in nothing is a hard and personal process, that require a lot of study and reading. You cannot be atheist because it’s fashion or nice.
I admire some things of Christianity. I personally think that Jesus existed (because it’s written on the history) and he was a very wise philosopher (but he was just human). I like the holidays of Christianity as Christmas day(I hate when people say that the atheist should not celebrate Christmas, in fact originally it was not even a Christian party) or Easter because it’s a good moment to be with family, having a good time and give and receive presents or chocolates.
There are more things that I dislike of religion but I prefer to keep them to me to avoid the polemic, because it’s a topic that require time to be discus.

Greetings. Don’t be haters.

My favorite piece of technology.
My laptop is my favorite peace of technology. Well, everybody knows what a laptop is; it’s a kind of portable computer that you can use where ever you want without needing any big box that the normal personal computers have.
I got my laptop on 2013 summer when I was just paid of my first job in a car park (I was the guy that check the license plate of all the vehicles that get into the park, but that’s another story). I was very proud of it, because I got it with my own job and I was so happy because I really needed it.
I use my laptop for everything, I mean to study, to read, to chat with my family in Temuco L, to listen music, to play computer games, to be informed of the news, etc.
When I’m not at university or when I’m not reading, I’m using the laptop.
I like it because it’s very useful for me. It lets me be in contact with my family without paying bigger costs (just internet). I can use it to distract myself, etc.

Without my computer, or without computers, the life would be really different than it is. We would not have automatic cashiers or we would not be in contact with people around the world. We would not know about that news that happen in other parts of the earth, etc. If the computers would disappear now, the world would be a chaos.

My courses
Well, the first semester is one of the most important to anybody that get into a new career and I hope to do my best in all the subjects. I have four obligatory subjects: introduction to law, history of law, microeconomic and moral philosophy (we already had the test on Thursday, and it was not really easy, in fact, it was hard, but I tried to write all the things that I knew). All this subjects are necessary to get other subjects for the second semester and almost every freshman took them. About optative subjects, I have two of them, institutions of Roman law; a subject that give more credits than the others optative courses and it’s much recommended for the other students. The other optative is accounting. And finally I took English because it is very necessary and useful to look for a job in the future or to study abroad maybe.

My expectations for this semester are not very complicated. First of all, survive in Santiago and in the university, then to pass all the courses with an acceptable grade, but the most important I think is try to learn something of all this and try to enjoy too.

Hello. My name is Bastián Venegas. I'm 18 years old. I'm not from Santiago. I born in Temuco the 12nd of September of 1995. I moved to Santiago to from the south of Chile to study Laws at Universidad de Chile. Until March, I lived with my parents, Alex and Karina, my younger brother, Antonio, my cat, Sabina and my little dog, Loki. They lived in Padre las Casas, a small city beside Temuco. In this moment I'm living at Ñuñoa in a pension with my cousin Jorge, he studies History Pedagogy at Universidad Metropolitana de las Ciencias de la Educación, and we are both freshmen students.

I studied at Colegio Mundo Mágico (yeah, I know that it sounds like a kindergarden, but it was a good elementary school). In high school, I studied at Liceo Camilo Henríquez and then I came here to Santiago to study Rights.

I always have liked a lot the history and the letters. I like reading, , listening to music, watching movies, being with my friends, listening to music, etc.

Greetings people!
